Is there a free trial?
Yes, your first month is free. We take card details at signup so nothing interrupts a collection, and we'll email you before the first payment. Cancel any time before then and you won't be charged.
Does my client need an account?
No. They share or email the file exactly as they would now. Nothing changes at their end, and they never need to know traces.link is involved.
What if I don't want my client knowing I'm using this?
Pick any username you like. It's just an email address, and most clients won't give it a second thought.
Can I still work on the file normally?
Yes. You get a copy to use however you like. The original stays sealed in your vault, untouched.
What happens to my evidence if I cancel?
You leave with everything. We send you a sealed archive of every file you've collected, yours to keep.
Is this actually good enough for court?
Yes. Every file is fingerprinted three independent ways, stored in write-once storage and timestamped by an independent authority, so anyone can verify the file you hold is exactly the one that was sent.
How fast is it?
Minutes, usually. It runs automatically, day or night, with nobody waiting to press a button.
Where are my files stored?
On our own UK infrastructure, encrypted, on storage that can't be edited or deleted once sealed. Nothing about your matters sits in a shared third-party service.
